Institute For Career Development Did you know there are three
ways ICD can directly benefit you?
On site classes and open computer labs
The on-site classes are customized to meet your needs. A wide variety
of computer skills, financial information. Open computer lab time is also
available so you can come in and practice what you’ve learned in your
computer classes. All on site courses are free of charge to Local 12 Steelworkers.
TelSim
Is an on-line learning opportunity accessible from any computer with
Internet access. 1700 courses are available. ICD pays the monthly charge
for your TelSim login. Enroll at the ICD office 1001 East Broad Street,
East Gadsden,
AL. 35903
Tuition Assistance
Financial assistance is available for degree or non-degree seeking
courses at accredited schools. It is required that you get pre approval
for this benefit.

development are stunted when programs are mandated from above, but
flourish in an atmosphere of voluntary participation in self-designed and
self-directed training and education.
